As the owner of BodymasterGB I have had a passion for cars since a very young age. Back in the early eighties when I was in my teens, I had a love for the Hillman Avenger for its simple body styling, great ride and overall sporty looks.

Whereas most of my schoolmates were having to spend hours finishing homework after school, and playing football in the park at weekends I was dismantling the Avenger and putting it back together! I have owned quite a few of these little gems through my teenage years to my early twenties and so I can safely say that the Avenger is a car that I become very familiar with and very fond of. Forever tinkering with the bodywork, tweaking the engine and improving the interior, hopefully it has all paid off!

So after twenty years or so I have decided to live my dream and race my very own Hillman Avenger as a hobby! A new found friend of mine, Adrian Bell, was looking to sell his Mark 1 2-door GT and I couldn't miss the opportunity of a lifetime. I have since made my mark on my latest aquisition and are now a member of the Classic Touring Car Campaign.

This year will be my second season racing the yellow GT, ‘No.39’ and so I decided to keep my friends, crew, clients and website visitors up-to-date on my progress in the Championship.
